It probably doesn't come as much of a surprise that there are undocumented immigrants serving in the US military. It also probably shouldn't be a surprise to learn that the military provides a path to citizenship for those that do. What is surprising, and very saddening, is that after getting these people to serve our country in wars around the world, they can still find themselves being deported.
